📌 How Predictions Work

  • Branch Rank Logic: We use the highest allotted branch rank per seat category from the most recent TG ECET counseling round as the cutoff.
  • Reservation Awareness: Your eligible seat types are computed from the TG ECET reservation matrix — category, gender, region, and special quota all apply together.
  • OU Advantage: OU-region candidates are shown both OU-zone and UR seats; UR candidates see UR-only seats.
  • Branch Required: Select at least one branch to narrow results. Results are capped at 150 rows per query.
  • Not a Guarantee: Actual allotments depend on 2026 competition and seat matrix. Use predictions for shortlisting only.

How to Use the TG ECET 2026 Predictor

Five inputs. Ten seconds. A ranked list of colleges you're eligible for.

1

Enter your TG ECET Rank

Your rank is printed on the ECET rank card. Use the exact number — lower rank means better chances at competitive colleges.

2

Select Category, Gender & Region

These determine your eligible seat types. TG ECET has separate branch ranks for OC, BC-A/B/C/D/E, SC, ST, EWS — and for male vs female candidates within each. OU vs UR region further filters available seats.

3

Add Special Quota (if applicable)

If you hold an NCC certificate, CAP card, sports achievement, or PH certificate, select the relevant quota. Extra seats are reserved under these quotas across most government and aided colleges.

4

Select Your Preferred Branches (required)

At least one branch must be selected. Choose the branches you're interested in — CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil, etc. You can select multiple branches to compare across colleges.

5

Read your results

On desktop, results appear as a table sorted by branch rank. On mobile, tap any card to expand full details. Click "View Profile" to open the college's full information page.

Everything You Need to Know

🎓

What is TG ECET?

Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test for lateral entry admission. Diploma and B.Sc graduates can directly join the 2nd year B.Tech — skipping the first year entirely. Conducted by JNTUH on behalf of TSCHE.

🗺️

OU vs UR Region

If you studied in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medak, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, or Mahbubnagar — you qualify as OU zone. OU candidates can fill both OU and UR web options; UR candidates fill only UR options.

📊

Branch Rank Explained

The branch rank for a seat is the highest (worst) rank that received allotment in that seat category during counseling. If your rank is ≤ the branch rank, you are eligible. The predictor shows all such branches for you.

🔄

Counseling Rounds

TG ECET typically runs 2 main rounds + 1 special round + spot admissions. Branch ranks drop progressively each round as seats fill up. Predictions here are based on Round 1 data — actual Round 2 may have slightly relaxed cutoffs.

Top Demand Branches

CSE, IT, and AI/ML have the most competition — lowest branch ranks. Mechanical, Civil, Mining, and Agriculture Engineering tend to have higher (lenient) branch ranks. ECE and EEE fall in the middle tier.

💡

Strategy Tips

Fill 8–12 web options across different colleges and branches. Prioritize government and aided colleges for fee benefits. Don't skip lower-priority options — they act as safety nets if top choices are filled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Predictions are based on official branch ranks from the most recent TG ECET counseling rounds. They closely mirror trends from previous years. However, 2026 competition, total applicants, and seat matrix changes can shift cutoffs by a small margin. Use this as a strong shortlisting guide, not a definitive result.
OU (Osmania University zone) candidates are eligible for both OU-zone seats and UR (Unreserved/State-wide) seats — giving them more options. UR candidates can only access UR seats. Residence or study in Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medak, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Nalgonda, or Mahbubnagar qualifies you as OU zone.
Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), and AI/ML-related branches consistently see the lowest branch ranks — meaning only high-rankers get in. ECE and EEE are moderately competitive. Civil, Mechanical, Mining, and Agricultural Engineering have the most relaxed branch ranks. Use the predictor to see exact figures for your category.
Yes. Special quotas like NCC, CAP (Children of Armed Personnel), SG (Sports), and PH categories are applied alongside your caste-based reservation category. The predictor shows eligible seats under both your regular category and any applicable special quota simultaneously.
There is no upper limit on web options — fill as many as possible. Experienced counselors recommend at least 10–15 options ordered from most preferred to least. Allotment is based on your rank, category eligibility, and option order. Filling fewer options risks missing a seat if your top choices are filled.
Typically required: TG ECET 2026 Rank Card, SSC/10th Certificate, Diploma/B.Sc Marks Memos (all years), Transfer Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Income Certificate (for EWS), Residence Certificate, Aadhaar card, passport-size photographs, and special quota certificates if applicable. Verify the official TSCHE document list before reporting.
