Eligibility & Reservation Criteria

Academic & Demographic Criteria

  • Nationality & Domicile: Candidates must be Indian Nationals and satisfy local/Non-Local status requirements as per G.O.Ms.No. 20.
  • Academic Score: Must have 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories BC/SC/ST) in Maths, Physics, Chemistry at +2 level.
  • Bridge Course: Intermediate Vocational candidates who completed the Bridge Course with Maths and Physical Sciences are eligible for Engineering courses only, but not for B.Pharmacy and Pharma.D courses.
  • Age Limits: Minimum 16 years as on 31-12-2026 for Engineering (17 years for Pharm D). For fee reimbursement, max age is 25 (OC) or 29 (SC/ST/BC) as of 01-07-2026.

Seat Reservation Breakdown

  • 85% Local Quota: Admission to 85% of the seats in each course is strictly reserved for local candidates of Andhra Pradesh (AU and SVU local areas).
  • 15% Unreserved Quota: The remaining 15% of seats are unreserved. These are open to candidates eligible in both local areas, candidates residing in the state for 10 years, or children/spouses of state/central government employees posted within AP.

Case 1 (Direct to Web Options) If data is verified online and no changes are needed, the candidate is automatically cleared for option entry. No HLC visit is required.

Case 2 & 3 (HLC Correction Required) If changes are needed (Case 2) or the candidate is marked "not eligible" online (Case 3), they must physically approach a nearby Help Line Centre (HLC) with their original documents and 2-3 sets of Xerox copies before the web options window ends.

Web Options Strategy Prep (Upcoming Phase)

Manual Planning The official notification explicitly advises students to prepare their college and branch preference list manually on paper first after consulting parents and experts before entering them online.
Avoid Mobile Devices Exercising web options should be done from a computer or internet center. Mobile phone browsers can cause technical glitches and data loss during choice submission.
The "Freeze" Rule You can save options multiple times, but clicking the "Freeze" button locks the list permanently. The final absolute day to modify saved choices is August 23, 2026, before they automatically lock at 10:00 p.m.

Final Seat Allotment & Mandatory Reporting

  • Allotment Release: August 26, 2026 (After 6:00 p.m.).
  • The Dual-Reporting Rule: Students must complete both online self-reporting and physical reporting at the allotted college between August 27 and August 31. Completing only one mode will result in the immediate cancellation of the seat.

  • Anglo-Indian: Certificate by Competent Authority of residence.

Fine Print: Special Categories

Special category certificates (PWD / CAP / NCC / Sports / Scouts & Guides / Anglo-Indian) were verified only during the First Phase of counselling. There is no Certificate Verification for Special Categories in this Final Phase.

Please note that all seat allotments made are strictly subject to the grant of affiliation from the respective University to the college for the academic year 2026-27.

There is no difference. AP EAMCET was officially renamed to AP EAPCET after medical admissions were shifted exclusively to NEET. The exam now covers Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy courses.

Yes. General (OC) and BC category candidates must score a minimum of 25% of the total marks (40 out of 160) to obtain a rank. However, there is no minimum qualifying mark requirement for SC and ST candidates.

Historically, APSCHE applied a 25% weightage to Intermediate marks and 75% to the entrance test score to calculate the final rank. Ensure you review the official 2026 APSCHE notification to confirm if the 75:25 weightage remains active for this year.
